Three Stop Types
Always Stop
A designated location where the bus stops every time it completes the route loop.
Request Stop
A designated location where you can request to board or deboard the vehicle. There are three ways to request this service.
Deviated Stop
A designated location that is ¼ of a mile from the scheduled route.
Stop Times
Stop times are located on the map below and repeat each hour. For example, if a stop time is listed as :20, it means the bus will stop at that location 20 minutes after every hour, such as 9:20, 10:20, 11:20, and so on.
On Time
Although we strive to stay on time for each of our stops, we may occasionally run up to 10 minutes late due to unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we work to get back on schedule. We will not leave before the scheduled time at ALWAYS STOPS, but we may run up to 5 minutes early at REQUEST STOPS.
Dwell Time
Our vehicles may remain stopped (dwell) at an ALWAYS STOP until the scheduled time is met or passed. If the bus is running late, the driver will dwell at an ALWAYS STOP only a few moments.
Seat Belts
All Riders
All riders must properly use a seat belt at all times the bus is moving. There are no exceptions.
Children & Child Safety Seats
Children less than 4 years old or less than 40 pounds must be properly secured in an appropriate child safety seat (not provided by SMTS). Children or infants are never to be held in the lap of an adult while the vehicle is in motion. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Rider Courtesy
Help our drivers stay on time. All riders should be ready to board when the bus arrives and be ready to deboard the bus at their stop.

Personal belongings, grocery bags, etc. Riders may only bring items they can carry in one trip without assistance from the driver or others. SMTS Connect reserves the right to limit the number and size of bags at the driver’s discretion, based on space, capacity, and safety. All items must be safely stowed to prevent rolling or falling and must not block aisles, doorways, or exits. Belongings, including groceries, may not be left unattended on the vehicle at any time. SMTS is not responsible for items left behind.
Service Animals
We gladly welcome service dogs with their owners. We may ask the rider if the dog is a service animal and what service the dog provides before permitting it to accompany the rider on our vehicle. Service dogs that bark incessantly or present a danger to the driver or riders must be confined or restrained. Comfort and therapy animals are not considered service animals and are not permitted on board.

All Passes are Non-Refundable and should be treated as cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced.
Cash payments to drivers must be the exact amount. Drivers do not carry change.
Children under five (5) years old ride for FREE. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 16 years old.
Only valid for the individual listed on the front of the pass.
Only valid for the date/month/year listed on the front of the pass.
Photo ID may be requested by the driver.
How To Purchase
Passes may be purchased from the driver at the time of boarding or you may call the SMTS office.
